Freedom

2:00pm. Got up late today again. Just ordered Cappuccino and Focaccia Toscana again in Wi-Fi cafe, eating. Cappuccino’s as not smooth and sweet as the one I had in another cafe with Carlo, still much tasteful than that in Hong Kong. Sitting and killing time, as I know It’s still early to go to the beach even if I will spend time in museum(s) around.

The best thing is that you know what to do, you basically got a plan, but you don’t have a timetable or a schedule, and that you also have the choice to do it or not, by heart, follow the random, chase for the freedom.

6:30pm. I’m now writing on the secret beach under the almost setting sun. The beach has become quiet since many people had left, parents with sons and daughters, lads with their girlfriends, etc. I realize this is actually a famous but hidden beach in Cividale, plus it’s weekend today. In the meantime, I think it is weird writing on the beach when I’m naked to my waist, therefore it’s time to put this shit away. That lad who asked me to play kayak wasn’t here, perhaps he’d packed and gone. We’ll meet someday anyway.

9:00pm. Now waiting for my Prosciutto piccola (piccola means small) to come, in Pizzeria Al Cacallino. Back then I’d spent more than an hour in National Archaeological Museum. A big museum in Venetian architecture located right besides “the best Cappuccino cafe”. I tried to read the well-translated printed introduction on near every antiquity. I could only understand perhaps 20% of each introduction as my English sucks with many professional and ancient names.

Oh yes, smaller pizza finally comes, the size that you’ll still doubt if you could finish all of it, but it’s much better that you can waste less. It’s rare to have a pizza that even if you’re eating the last piece of it, you still feel tasteful and this one is that kind of a pizza.

Carlo will come over and bring me to Clabuzzaro tomorrow at 8am, so we won’t meet tonight, I have to prepare for 25 kilometers walk for tomorrow as well.
