11:40am. I’m eating 4 Stagioni in Pizzeria Trattoria Al Cavallino that’s again only me. Carlo’s suggestions, “Stagioni” means “Seasons”. It’d been like a decade since I drank Cola, so I ordered two. Christ, even cheese with mushroom tastes like food in the heaven.
Carlo dialed me this morning at 10:00 but I was sleeping as a pig, later he showed up with his motorbike down home rang and horned. He just came back to see if I was at home or not. Then we met at the “X” he marked on map yesterday night 30 mins later. Showing up with his truck, he led me down to the riverside, crossing the straw field and rocky roads. A beach near the river around the turn of water flow, around 4-5 people chilling and swimming, couldn’t believe there are humans. I will go back to the beach after this brunch and take something for killing time.
16:42pm. I just took a good nap on the stone beach. There are few lads chilling and on my not far left there is a woman naked to waist, that’s life exactly. So far spent around 2.5hrs here. Before that I bought something in the town, a new Cividale map no.41 that is exactly the same as one I’m always using, 4 tuna cans, one box of pasta and a small note. Spent around €30 for the pizza and all these. I want to give a new map to Carlo and restock the kitchen. Since the map using is old and broken a little.
He messaged me that he was stuck at work, so I might not see him walking his two puppies. The water is flowing down from up the mountain to the south, even if now is 30 degree Celsius the water is like 10. I soaked in the river shared with the ducks few times and lied down on the stone back and forth. I found that it is comfy to sleep on plenty of big stones that are curvy rounded shaped instead of crushed little stone with sand. The stones here fit well to my body shape, sometimes they move a bit as if a bed. All I need to do is just putting a wet towel under my head, enjoying sunbathing and getting tan. Left the beach just before the sun was about to be blocked by the cliff and trees.
